2007, 17.3H Draft Mare
Nellie has hunted with Cheshire for several seasons and was used as a whip horse, before being sent to Barb Strang. Barb whipped off of her last year with Andrew's Bridge Hounds. Nellie is a good mover and has had dressage training and competed at the local show level. Although she is a big mare, she is very well trained and would suit a tall woman or gentleman for the hunt field. Barb plans to continue to whip off of her for the 2017/18 season and will also hunt her first flight in the field. She is a great horse for someone who also wants to paper chase and event at the lower levels. |
