A note from photographer & Clinic participant, Elizabeth Conley Jackson

We are thankful to Elizabeth Conley Jackson for her photographic contributions from several of our clinics.  When we called her to ask permission to use her photos on our new website, she also offered to send some feedback on her experiences as a participant as well.  Below are her thoughts on training with Roddy.  Thank you Elizabeth!

"Several  years ago a friend asked me if I would be interested in photographing a clinic held at Saddle Brook Ridge Equestrian with Roddy Strang.   Since that initial introduction to Roddy’s  clinics , I have attended several others  over the years.

"Recently my horse and I were able to participate in a clinic rather than be the photographer.  Inspired by our session,  I decided I would trailer my horse to Roddy’s farm to continue our education together.  What impresses me most with Roddy’s training is that he is able to treat each horse and rider on an individual basis.   No one trick fits all.  I have observed Roddy work with so many different types of horses; From a  mentally fried pony to a  huge high spirited stallion.   With patience and consistency Roddy achieves positive results.  There are no limitations based on discipline, Roddy is able to help horse and rider whatever the situation.
